Cancellation & Refund Policy

  1. Scope

This policy governs cancellations and refund eligibility for all bookings made with Sea Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. (“the Company”). It applies to tour packages, transfers, and other services unless otherwise stated in a specific package agreement.

 

  1. Standard Cancellation Conditions
  • ≥ 30 days before departure: Deposit forfeiture
  • Airline or supplier penalties apply in addition.

 

  1. Administrative & Service Fees
  • Any amendment after booking confirmation will incur an administration fee of RM50 per person per change.
  • No amendments will be entertained within 30 working days (FIT00)
  • A substantial change in traveller name, destination, or travel date will be treated as cancellation and subject to the cancellation policy.
  • Any bank charges, credit card fees, or third-party processing charges are non-refundable.

 

  1. Refund Processing
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 30 working days from the date we confirm cancellation.
  • Refunds will be returned using the same method of payment made for the booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

  1. Changes or Amendments by Traveler
  • Requests to amend travel dates, destinations, or participants are treated as cancellations and new bookings, unless stated otherwise.
  • Additional costs may apply depending on availability and supplier terms.

 

  1. Cancellations by the Company
  • If Sea Travel & Tours cancels a tour or service (for reasons other than non-payment by you), we will:
    • Offer an alternative of equal or greater value, or
    • Provide a full refund of all payments made.
  • We are not liable for additional expenses you may incur (e.g. visas, insurance, flights booked separately).

 

  1. Force Majeure & Extraordinary Events
  • In case of cancellations due to events beyond our control (e.g. natural disasters, political instability, pandemics, airline/transport strikes, government restrictions), refunds or rescheduling will follow the policy and conditions set by our suppliers and partners.
  • The Company reserves the right to withhold part of the payment to cover unrecoverable costs.

 

  1. Travel Insurance

We strongly advise all travelers to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellation, medical emergencies, accidents, delays, and loss of personal belongings.
